I am a busy mom of three, and when I am not absorbed with life in general, I am usually writing. I also hate getting junk mail, so I try not to send an update unless I have something to good to share. Typically, I shoot for once a quarter, and more frequently before a new release.

Right now, I am thinking there will be five. Afterall, there are Four Horsemen who all need their own story told, and I feel like I will need one additional book to wrap it all up together. But as always, it's wherever I feel God leading me with it.

I write heavy and steamy romantic tension, but all closed-door, meaning no explicit scenes or no spice. I know this is a topic with strong beliefs, especially within the faith-based community. I believe there is no place for explicit scenes in the young adult genre. That said, I have two girls who love romance and I believe in writing it in a way that expresses a healthy understanding of the gift that love, romance, and passion are meant to be. Those are all things created by God as gifts. After all, Song of Songs is a deep and descriptive book of love, romance, and passion. However, the world I write in is dystopian, so it's hard and dark and filled with problems. Definitely not a rainbows and cupcakes kind of world. I do my best to present those themes as well as showing the flaws and struggles of characters, all in the context and light of a redemptive God who makes beauty from ashes, even in romantic relationships.
